When is the last time somebody listened to you?
I mean really listened…
Did they listen without pushing their own agenda. Without reflecting the conversation onto their own experience. Without trying to ‘fix’ you, or thinking that the latest fad in psychology, dieting or meditation apps is all you need?
Coaching can give you a real space to stop, reflect (maybe vent for a bit), get unstuck in your life, and unlock the huge potential that’s already inside of you.
About me
I use a non-directive, person-centred model of coaching, an approach based on the power of listening and drawing on YOUR experience, strengths, and intuition. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) I am accredited with EMCC at Practitioner level, and have a Masters (with distinction) in Coaching and Mentoring Practice at Oxford Brookes University. [more about my coaching model]
Building on diverse, international experience
I draw on my broad professional experience, which includes over fifteen years working in international development, adult learning and academic publishing, working with diverse, global teams in the US, Africa and Asia on complex project work (see my consultancy page for more information).
Technology and AI-enhanced coaching options
As well as 1-to-1 coaching over zoom, I often recommend supplementing this approach with hybrid coaching methods using technology, for example:
- Hybrid video/text, utilising semi-synchronous text based communication such as WhatsApp for quick communication, reflection and reminders
- Human/AI hybrid coaching, collaborating with a trusted AI coaching software for 24/7 availability between sessions (but with human oversight)
I have published peer-reviewed research, and presented at 3 international conferences on the use of AI in coaching (see publications). I am mindful of the need to maintain high ethical and data privacy standards when using Generative Artificial Intelligence, which is reflected in my careful use of technology.
Supervision
My practice is supported by regular formal coaching supervision, to ensure my practice is ethical and effective
